What the World Needs Now

Well.... I can't exactly say that I think the world needs more blog awards, but a little lovin' won't hurt!
What a fabulous Friday it was when I realized that the sweet and girly, tulle-loving Trishiekoh over at Under Luck and Key thought I was an awesome girl!

So receiving this "Awesome Girl" award came with a few little rules...
but I'm willing to play along!
Before passing this on to another 10 awesome bloggie girls, I have to tell you all 10 little tidbits about me... so here goes:
1. I am terrified of flying. No matter how much time I spend in the sky, the terror never goes away.
2. I love to wrap presents! I keep an entire tupperware bin under my bed filled with Christmas wrapping supplies and another tupperware bin in my closet with other wrapping items- ribbon, bows, paper, bags, accessories.
3. I really want to go on a cruise. I know I won't have much of a vacation budget for quite some time, but I would love for my next vacation to be a cruise. And in the best possible world, it would be a cruise through the Mediterranean... with a stop off in Greece.
4. My favorite letters are Q and X... for really no reason at all. Maybe because they don't get used that often, who knows. I just think they're fun letters!
5. I'm always cold- even in the summer, I usually have a sweatshirt near by. I keep my giant purple fleece blanket on my couch at all times, and if I'm watching TV, I have to be covered up and cuddled up in my blanket.
6. I still keep "bun and blank" on my bed. "Bun" is my stuffed white bunny rabbit, that my mom and dad bought for me when I was 5 years old while we were on vacation in Boston. "Blank" is the blanket I have had since my mom and dad brought me home. Their friend, Sara, made it for me and it has the Wizard of Oz characters stitched onto it. However, it is showing signs of age, and love, as the sides of the blanket are completely worn and frayed, and it is starting to wear completely through. It has mascara stains on from when I would cry into it while I was a teenager, and I will probably keep it with me until it completely disintegrates.
7. I love sports- perhaps why I have always been more at home with a group of guys than girls. I can rattle off baseball statistics with ease... and my kitties are both names after athletes (one after a hockey player, and one after a pitcher).
8. I love cleaning, and organizing. Seriously, I love it.
9. I don't like eating the "ends" of things. For instance, if I eat a pickle, I cannot take the very last bite of it. Same with hot dogs, brats, string cheese... and how do I know which "end" is the inedible "end?" I have no logical answer for that...
10. I have a huge heart and I wear it on my sleeve. I love intensely and deeply, and I have learned that this has caused me a lot of heartache in life... and yet I wouldn't change it for the world.
So... way more than most of you probably ever wanted to know about me...
Now for the fun part! Passing this beauty onto ten awesome girls!
And let me say... I think every single bloggie person I have met is awesome, so here's hoping I get lots more awards in the future so I can share them with lots more of you!
I devise, bequeath and bestow (what can I say, I'm a little lawyer in training) the Awesome Girl award upon these super-amazing and awesome bloggie friends:

Oh, I love the blanket story. I don't really have such memorable blanket, I change as season goes by, I used to wear a pink blanket, but now it's pink flowery thick blanket... and I am always cold too! I thought there was something wrong with me, now I found a friend with the same problem, yay! So is it normal or we both have problem? lol.

Yay I'm not alone, I don't like eating the ends of things either, especially the ends of french fries! I bite one end but then throw the tip back. No rhyme or reason behind it just a habit. I also hate to eat the crust of pizza and bread.

Also, I'm scared of flying :(

Have a great weekend!

Ha, i love to wrap presents too! And not to mention, I'm so OC about it. My cut has to be neat and the folds should be equal in all sides. Haha.

What an adorable, happy blog! I happened on it today (I think I came over from Anne's blog, though I've been sitting here blog-surfing for 2 hours so I can't be sure!)
I love kitties too...I have 2 (Buddy Holly and Peggy Sue, tho we call her Spawn of Satan most of the time). They keep us busy, as do our 3 dogs, 2 birds and 1 fish.
You clean for FUN? Holy MOLY! Our similarities just ended. To be fair, they ended when I saw that you were gorgeous, but a girl can dream....
Have a wonderful Holiday weekend~
